DMCA / Copyright Takedown Policy
Our Role
FilmedAtHome is a video index site. We don’t host any video files ourselves, so we can’t remove videos from the internet. What we do is remove the listing and embedded link from our site. If you own rights to a video, you should also contact the site hosting the actual video.
How to Send a Copyright Notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3))
To report a copyright issue, your notice must include:
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) on filmedathome.com
- A description of the copyrighted work you own
- Your name, address, and email
- A statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your signature (typed is okay)
Send your notice to our Copyright Agent through the contact page.
What Happens Next
We review valid notices within a few business days and remove the listed content. If you believe a removal was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) using the same contact method. If a source repeatedly causes valid copyright complaints, we will remove all their listings from our index.
